Born in Rome, Italy, graduated at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart Medical School of Rome in 1999. Specialisation in Cardiology in 2003, at University of Tor Vergata, Rome. Training in cardiac pacing at San Filippo Neri Hospital, Rome 2001-2003. PhD at Tor Vergata University, Rome, 2009. Consultant cardiologist at University Hospital Tor Vergata,in Rome from 2009 to 2015. From 2015 to present EP Lab Coordinator at G.B. Grassi Hospital, Rome. Adjunct Professor of Cardiology, University of Tor Vergata from 2009 to 2015. Author of several books and scientific treatises, he published over 100 peer review papers. Active member of EHRA, ECAS and WSA. Served in volunteer roles for AIAC (Italian Association of Arrhythmology/Cardiac pacing) and FIC (Italian Federation of Cardiology). Co-Chairman of International Symposium on Progress in Clinical Pacing, Rome. Clinical and research interests focus on CRT and remote heart failure diagnostics for device patients.
